Rockfish Cruises

Rockfish provides a unique cruising experience on the Clarence River and also conducts Whale Watching Tours from May to October. Yamba-Angourie Surf School

Learn from a professional surfer with the Yamba-Angourie Surf School. Private lessons, group lessons and school surfing can be catered for.

The owner, Jeremy Walters (Australian Champion and professional surfer) has the expertise and experience to teach beginners, intermediate and advanced surfers of all ages.

Yamba-Angourie Surf School is licensed by Surfing Australia and Clarence Valley Council.

Learn: surf safety and surf awareness, how to stand up and surf the waves, wave selection, what surfboard is best for you and the rules of the surf.

Yamba-Angourie Surf School provides: soft and safe learner surfboards, long-sleeve sun shirts, sunscreen and fully qualified and experienced instructors.

Pippi Beach Yamba

Pippi Beach is an idyllic location to soak up the sun and enjoy the crashing waves of the Pacific Ocean. It is a popular surfing beach which has a large number of enthusiastic surfing competitors turn up for the annual 'Pippi Beach Surf Classic'.

Pippi is patrolled by the local surf club in season.

Fishing off the rock shelf at the northern end is another popular pastime for locals and visitors. Picnic tables, parking and toilet facilities are all available. Southern Pippi Beach is also a leash free area for dogs.
